WW #99 What is this flower?

Happiest White Wednesday to you all out there in
blog Land

I have a question...and I hope someone has the answer :)
we recently just moved to a new home and there is an old arbor with the most beautiful/unusual veining flower on it.

I love the white and then the beautiful purple and the kiwi green...it is just gorgeous up against the white arbor....so do you know what it is??

  1. It's a passion flower, Sheila. I know because I had one and you just need to watch because it can be invasive. I had sprouts of it coming up in my lawn.

  2. Yes, that was what I was going to say...Passion Vine or Passiflora. We are too far north to grow them outside but I keep one in a pot over winter. I can imagine they would take over, they root so easily and grow so fast but I love the blossoms.
